Every new project – large or small – begins with a Design Consultation. The goals for each consultation will differ based on your needs for your specific project.
If you are planning a larger decorating or remodeling project, we will treat the consultation as a fact-finding mission while providing ideas and advice.
If you are tackling a project on your own and need help with a tricky situation or are stuck in a certain area, we can counsel you on possible solutions.

You are thinking about starting a major renovation and need advice on how to get to get started.
You are busy with your career and/or family and don’t want to spend your time hunting for furniture, window treatments, and accessories. You just want it done!
You love decorating and designing your home on your own but want to get a designer’s input.
You are struggling with how to arrange your furniture properly or are thinking about investing in new furniture pieces.
You want to freshen up your kitchen or bathroom and need help selecting from finishes that you’ve already gathered.
You need advice on how to update and improve your home for resale.
What to Expect
- Introduction - We review your questionnaire & inspiration to set the goals for the consultation.
- Tour - We walk through your home with you to gather information and provide input and advice.
- Documentation - We take some basic measurements, photograph, and video your space.
- Conclusion - We review our process and next steps with you and answer any questions.
Within five business days of your consultation, we will send you a custom report outlining our observations, recommendations, and next steps. Depending upon the scope discussed, the report may include a proposal for our services and an estimated budget for your project.
For larger projects, we will schedule a Zoom call to review the report and proposal together with you.

- Make a list of questions that you want to address in advance.
- Gather inspiration images from magazines or online. If you can send us a Pinterest board or Houzz Ideabook in advance, even better!
- Think carefully about how much you would like to invest in improvements and decor. Consult with any other key decision makers like a spouse or partner.
